DefinitionOne who serves another. In the KJV 'servant' translates multiple Hebrew and Greek terms ranging from a voluntary helper to a bond-slave. It is used of God's great servants (Moses, David, the prophets), of Christ as the Suffering Servant of Isaiah 53, and of believers who are servants (slaves) of Christ.
