Bible Studies

Organise your insights by topic or passage.

Create named study collections and attach personal notes to specific scriptures. Whether you are preparing a sermon, leading a small group, or simply journaling through the Word, the Study system keeps all your thoughts organised and linked to the text.

  • 📝 Create unlimited studies — give each study a title and an optional description so you always know what it covers (e.g. “The Sermon on the Mount”, “Pauline Epistles”).
  • 📝 Scripture-linked notes — every note can be pinned to a specific book, chapter, and verse. Click the reference in your study to jump straight to that passage.
  • 📝 Notes panel while reading — the slide-in Notes panel (📝 Notes button in the sidebar or Add Note button under the chapter heading) lets you save a note without leaving the page. Choose your study and optionally pick a specific verse from the dropdown.
  • 📝 Study view — each study has its own page showing all notes in chronological order on the left and a quick-add form on the right. Notes can be deleted individually and the study title can be edited at any time.

How to add a note while reading

  1. Open any chapter in the reader.
  2. Click 📝 Notes in the left sidebar, or Add Note beneath the chapter title.
  3. Select a study from the dropdown (studies load automatically).
  4. Optionally choose a specific verse to link the note to.
  5. Type your note and click Save Note.

AI Bible Study Assistant

Ask anything about the scriptures.

An intelligent chat assistant is embedded on every page of the site. It is powered by a private large language model that runs entirely private on this server — your conversations never leave this site infrastructure.

  • Always available — look for the dark chat button in the bottom-right corner of any page. Click to open the assistant panel.
  • Context-aware — when you are reading a passage, the assistant automatically knows which book and chapter you are viewing. Ask “What is the historical background of this chapter?” and it understands the context without you having to specify it.
  • KJV specialist — the assistant is instructed to specialise in the King James Version. It quotes and references KJV text, explains archaic language, and provides theological and historical commentary.
  • Conversation memory — the assistant remembers the last 20 exchanges in your session so you can ask follow-up questions naturally. Signed-in users have their full chat history saved to the database.
  • Private LLM — the assistant connects to our private Ai infrastructure. All calls are managed locally and never go out to other services.
  • Clear conversation — use the ↻ button in the chat header to reset the conversation and start fresh at any time.
  • Export to PDF — use the ⇩ button in the chat header to export your research to PDF

Example questions to ask - You can be creative

“What does ‘firmament’ mean in Genesis 1?” “Who wrote the book of Job?” “Compare John 3:16 with Romans 5:8.” “What are the seven churches of Revelation?” “Explain the Beatitudes in plain English.” “What passages speak about forgiveness?” “Where can I find the Easter story?” “What does the parable of the mustard seed mean?” “Where can I find the feeding of the 5000?” “Can you tell me about this chapter?” “Can you show the Book, Chapter and list the Verse talks about Jesus turning water into wine?”

Audio Bible Narration

Hear the Word as you read.

Every chapter in all 66 books of the King James Bible has a professional audio narration that plays in the background while you read, bookmark, study, or chat with the AI assistant. The audio follows you from chapter to chapter automatically when the toggle is on.

  • Global toggle — look for the ♪ Audio button in the media bar fixed at the bottom of every reader page. Turn it on once and it stays on as you navigate between chapters.
  • Playback controls — once the audio starts you will see Play / Pause buttons and a progress bar so you can jump to any point in the chapter.
  • All 66 books — Old Testament and New Testament are fully covered. Audio loads automatically for whichever chapter you open.
  • Background play — the audio keeps playing even while you scroll through the text, write notes, bookmark verses, or ask the AI assistant a question.

How to use audio narration

  1. Open any chapter in the reader.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the media bar.
  3. Click the ♪ Audio toggle button — it highlights gold when active.
  4. Use the ▶ / ▮▮ buttons to play or pause, or click anywhere on the progress bar to seek.
  5. Navigate to the next chapter — the new chapter’s audio begins automatically.
  6. Click the toggle again to turn audio off.

Video Bible Narration

Scenic Wonders Bible — New Testament only.

For all 27 books of the New Testament, you can also watch a beautiful scenic video narration from the Scenic Wonders Bible in a floating video player. The player stays out of your way while you read — and you can drag it anywhere on screen or expand it to a larger view.

  • 🎦 New Testament exclusive — the 🎦 Video toggle appears in the media bar only when you are reading a New Testament book (Matthew through Revelation).
  • 🎦 Floating player — the video opens in a small 240×180 window anchored to the lower-right corner. Drag it by its title bar to any position on the screen so it never covers the text you are reading.
  • 🎦 Expand to full view — click the expand button (⛶) in the player title bar to enlarge the video to 640×480. Click again (⊟) to collapse it back to the compact size. You can also move this window to where you want.
  • 🎦 Mutually exclusive with audio — turning on Video automatically stops any audio narration, and vice versa, so you never hear both at once.
  • 🎦 Auto-switches chapters — when you navigate to the next chapter the current video stops and the new chapter’s video begins, just like the audio player.
  • 🎦 Close button — click × in the player title bar to close the video and turn the toggle off.

How to use video narration

  1. Open any New Testament chapter (Matthew through Revelation).
  2. Scroll to the bottom to find the media bar.
  3. Click the 🎦 Video toggle — the floating player appears in the lower-right corner.
  4. Drag the player by its gold title bar to reposition it anywhere on screen.
  5. Click to expand to a larger view, or to close.
  6. Navigate to the next chapter — the player loads the new video automatically.
