II Chronicles 17:5
The Scripture
(5) Therefore the LORD stablished the kingdom in his hand; and all Judah brought to Jehoshaphat presents; and he had riches and honour in abundance.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoshaphat strengthened himself against Israel, removed idolatrous high places, and sought the LORD as his father David had, so the LORD established the kingdom in his hand and gave him riches and honor. He sent princes and Levites throughout Judah to teach the people the book of the law, and the fear of the LORD fell on the surrounding nations so that none made war against him.
