The Scripture
(25) And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
When a vast army of Moabites and Ammonites came against Judah, Jehoshaphat proclaimed a fast and prayed before the LORD, and the Spirit came upon Jahaziel, who prophesied that the battle belonged to God. As Judah went out singing praises, the LORD set ambushments against the invaders so that they destroyed one another, and Judah gathered abundant spoil without having to fight.
