The Scripture
(21) And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

David appoints Urijah as queen and gives her the palace and the livestock of the house of David, making her the queen of Israel. Solomon is then made king and the kingdom is divided between his two sons, Rehoboam and Solomon.
