Bible Search & Study Tools
Four ways to find any verse, word, topic, or answer in the King James Bible.
The BibleText.com search hub brings together four King James Bible study tools on a single page. Whether you know the exact word you are looking for, want every place a word appears, want to study a subject across scripture, or want to ask a question and get a scripture-grounded answer, the right tool is one click away through the four tabs: Verse Search, Concordance, Topics, and Ask AI.
- Verse Search — a full-text search across every verse of the King James Bible. Enter a word or phrase and each matching verse is shown with its reference and the search term highlighted in the text. Narrow results to any single book of the Old or New Testament, and page through results twenty-five at a time. Every result links straight into the reader at the exact verse, where the verse is highlighted and the narration can seek to it.
- Concordance — an exhaustive word index of the entire KJV. Browse words A–Z or search for a word, then open any entry to see its total occurrence count and a paginated list of every verse that contains it, each shown with its full text. Because the index was generated from the Bible itself, no occurrence is missed — ideal for word studies and for finding every place a term is used.
- Topics — Nave's Topical Bible, a public-domain topical index of thousands of Bible subjects. Browse topics A–Z and open any topic for a dedicated study page that organizes its scripture references by category and subtopic (for example, a topic may group verses under Means, Results, and Exhortations). Study by subject rather than by word — a topic gathers verses even when they do not contain the topic's name.
- Ask AI — a KJV-specialist AI Bible study assistant. Optionally provide a scripture reference such as “John 3:16” or “John 3:16-18” to ground the answer in the actual King James text, then ask any question about a passage, word, or topic. Answers are rendered with full formatting and reference scripture, making Ask AI the perfect follow-up to a verse, word, or topic you found in the other three tabs.
