The Scripture
(7) And it went down from Janohah to Ataroth, and to Naarath, and came to Jericho, and went out at Jordan.

The Israelites camp at the Jordan River while the spies continue to report that the land is ready for their entry. The chapter stresses that God has prepared the way and that the people must trust Him and obey His command to cross at the appointed time. It reminds the community that their success depends on faithful obedience and divine guidance.
