Jeremiah 52:17
The Scripture
(17) Also the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brasen sea that was in the house of the LORD, the Chaldeans brake, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.

In this chapter Jeremiah declares that the people of Judah have sinned and will be punished, and that the king of Babylon will bring judgment. He emphasizes that the nation's wickedness has led to its destruction and that only God can rescue them. The chapter ends with a warning that the time of judgment is near.
