II Chronicles 30:1
The Scripture
(1) And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Hezekiah invited all Israel and Judah to keep the Passover at Jerusalem, and though many from the northern tribes mocked the invitation, a large number humbled themselves and came to celebrate. The people kept the feast with great joy for seven days and then extended it another seven, and Hezekiah prayed for those who ate the Passover without being properly purified, and the LORD healed them.
