The Scripture
(9) There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
The psalmist calls the people of Israel to return to God after their exile, reminding them of the blessings they will receive if they obey. He urges them to remember the covenant and to worship the Lord with joy. The chapter ends with a warning that those who turn away will face judgment.
