Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In chapter eight Paul discusses the issue of food rules, arguing that believers should not be divided by dietary laws and that each person may eat what is lawful for them. He stresses that the law of God is to be observed in love and that there should be no partiality among the church. The chapter ends with a reminder that God’s command is to love one another.
