The Scripture
(2) The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

The psalmist condemns the unrepentant and corrupt people of Israel, describing their cruelty, injustice, and rebellion against God which brings divine judgment. He laments the loss of the temple and calls for restoration and repentance.
