Psalms 50:6

In this chapter the psalmist addresses the king’s people, urging them to be mindful of the throne’s authority and to avoid the pitfalls of pride and rebellion. He reminds them that the king’s rule is a covenant of justice and that the people must humble themselves before the divine throne. The passage calls for reverence, obedience, and a heart that seeks God’s will.
