Psalms 113:4
The Scripture
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Psalm 113 is a short hymn of praise calling the servants of the Lord to bless His name, which is to be blessed from the rising of the sun to its going down, for the Lord is high above all nations and His glory above the heavens. It marvels at God's condescension, who humbles Himself to behold the things in heaven and earth. The psalm closes by celebrating the Lord who raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the dunghill to set them with princes, and who makes the barren woman a joyful mother of children-praise ye the Lord.
