Psalm 108 is a song of David that merges portions of two earlier psalms into a confident prayer for victory, opening with a fixed heart determined to sing and praise God among the peoples and nations. It declares God's mercy above the heavens and His truth reaching to the clouds, then exalts Him over all the earth and over the nations, promising praise with the psaltery and harp.
