The Scripture
(58) We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jesus is seized by the authorities and brought before the Jewish council where he is questioned and accused of blasphemy. The crowd reacts violently and Peter is later identified as a traitor who denies Jesus. The chapter ends with Jesus being led to the cross for his execution.
