The Scripture
(24) In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

In this chapter the Israelites are instructed to deal with debts and restitution, establishing rules for settling debts and compensating those who have been wronged. It also covers the penalties for breaking the covenant, including the death penalty for certain offenses, and the process for making atonement through the sprinkling of blood.
