(28) Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Ezekiel 32 opens with a lament for Pharaoh, likened to a young lion and a sea monster whom the Lord will catch in His net and cast to the birds and beasts. The prophet then describes Pharaoh's multitude descending to the pit to join Assyria, Elam, and other slain nations lying in shame. The chapter closes with Pharaoh comforted only by seeing these nations share his fate as the Lord's terror fills the land of the living.
