Ezekiel 32:27
The Scripture
(27) And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Ezekiel 32 opens with a lament for Pharaoh, likened to a young lion and a sea monster whom the Lord will catch in His net and cast to the birds and beasts. The prophet then describes Pharaoh's multitude descending to the pit to join Assyria, Elam, and other slain nations lying in shame. The chapter closes with Pharaoh comforted only by seeing these nations share his fate as the Lord's terror fills the land of the living.
