The Scripture
(19) And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.

The queen of Sheba came to Jerusalem to test Solomon's wisdom with hard questions, and after seeing his wisdom, his house, and the magnificence of his kingdom, she declared that the half had not been told her. Solomon's wealth, gold, and fame surpassed all other kings of the earth, and after a reign of forty years, he died and was buried in the city of David.
