(18) And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

The queen of Sheba came to Jerusalem to test Solomon's wisdom with hard questions, and after seeing his wisdom, his house, and the magnificence of his kingdom, she declared that the half had not been told her. Solomon's wealth, gold, and fame surpassed all other kings of the earth, and after a reign of forty years, he died and was buried in the city of David.
