II Chronicles 33:9
The Scripture
(9) So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Manasseh did great evil, rebuilding the high places, worshiping the host of heaven, and even sacrificing his sons in the fire, causing Judah to sin worse than the nations before them. After being carried captive to Babylon, Manasseh humbled himself and prayed to the LORD, who restored him to his kingdom, and he removed the idols and repaired the altar of the LORD.
