II Kings 21:16
The Scripture
(16) Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Manasseh became king of Judah and rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had destroyed, worshiping Baal and even setting up idols in the temple of the LORD, causing Judah to sin worse than the nations before them. Because of his great wickedness the LORD pronounced judgment on Jerusalem, and after Manasseh's death his son Amon reigned briefly before being assassinated by his own servants.
