II Chronicles 33:3
The Scripture
(3) For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Manasseh did great evil, rebuilding the high places, worshiping the host of heaven, and even sacrificing his sons in the fire, causing Judah to sin worse than the nations before them. After being carried captive to Babylon, Manasseh humbled himself and prayed to the LORD, who restored him to his kingdom, and he removed the idols and repaired the altar of the LORD.
