II Kings 21:3
The Scripture
(3) For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Manasseh became king of Judah and rebuilt the high places his father Hezekiah had destroyed, worshiping Baal and even setting up idols in the temple of the LORD, causing Judah to sin worse than the nations before them. Because of his great wickedness the LORD pronounced judgment on Jerusalem, and after Manasseh's death his son Amon reigned briefly before being assassinated by his own servants.
