II Chronicles 21:4
The Scripture
(4) Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
Jehoram became king of Judah and killed all his brothers, walking in the wicked ways of the house of Ahab because he had married Ahab's daughter, and as a result Edom and Libnah revolted against Judah. Elijah sent Jehoram a letter of judgment, and the LORD afflicted him with invasions and a painful, incurable bowel disease that eventually killed him, and he died unlamented.
