The Holy Bible

(1) Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. And there stood no man with him, while Joseph made himself known unto his brethren.

(11) Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.

(15) My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

(5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

(9) For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

(12) Wilt thou refrain thyself for these things, O LORD? wilt thou hold thy peace, and afflict us very sore?

(16) Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

(38) And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to nought:

(10) For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
