(31) It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

(33) Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

(38) Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:

(43) Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

(8) The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

(10) When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

(13) And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

(19) And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

(21) And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

(22) But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

(32) And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

(2) And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

(3) And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.

(4) And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

(11) And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?

(12) But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

(15) And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, as long as the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast.

(21) For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

(22) But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

(24) He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

(28) And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.

(34) But the Pharisees said, He casteth out devils through the prince of the devils.

(3) And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

(4) Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:

(25) At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

(2) But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

(3) But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

(11) And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

(23) And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

(24) But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

(25) And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

(39) But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

(47) Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

(48) But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

(49) And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

(10) And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

(11) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

(27) So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

(28) He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

(37) He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

(52) Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.

(54) And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

(57) And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

(2) And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he is risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.

(4) For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

(8) And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

(16) But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.

(18) He said, Bring them hither to me.
