(7) But it came to pass, that when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem were made up, and that the breaches began to be stopped, then they were very wroth,

(19) And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.

(1) Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

(6) Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

(4) And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

(17) From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

(7) And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

(20) Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

(1) At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

(21) From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

(22) Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

(22) And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

(37) And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

(74) Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

(1) In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

(45) But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

(23) And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

(1) And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

(17) And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

(20) And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

(2) And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

(7) And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

(34) And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

(55) And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

(11) And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

(31) And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

(32) And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

(28) Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.

(32) And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,

(41) And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.

(47) And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

(15) And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;

(1) And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

(5) And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:

(19) And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

(33) And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

(65) And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

(69) And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

(71) But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

(8) And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.

(18) And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!

(70) As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

(23) And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli,

(21) And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

(7) And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

(21) And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

(15) And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

(24) And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

(38) And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

(49) And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also?
