(7) Then answered Esther, and said, My petition and my request is;

(9) Then went Haman forth that day joyful and with a glad heart: but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up, nor moved for him, he was full of indignation against Mordecai.

(14) Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.

(13) And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.

(3) Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:

(9) And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.

(10) So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.

(4) Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward Esther. So Esther arose, and stood before the king,

(9) Then were the king's scribes called at that time in the third month, that is, the month Sivan, on the three and twentieth day thereof; and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded unto the Jews, and to the lieutenants, and the deputies and rulers of the provinces which are from India unto Ethiopia, an hundred twenty and seven provinces, unto every province according to the writing thereof, and unto every people after their language, and to the Jews according to their writing, and according to their language.

(13) Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this day's decree, and let Haman's ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.

(29) Then Esther the queen, the daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this second letter of Purim.

(18) If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him, saying, I have not seen thee.

(35) Then would I speak, and not fear him; but it is not so with me.

(14) If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.

(18) Wherefore then hast thou brought me forth out of the womb? Oh that I had given up the ghost, and no eye had seen me!

(20) Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,

(11) For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it?

(15) For then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

(20) Only do not two things unto me: then will I not hide myself from thee.

(22) Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
