The people of Judah are warned that their wealth and prosperity depend on the Lord and will be taken away if they forget Him. They are instructed to give to the poor, keep the Sabbath, and not oppress their neighbors. The chapter ends with a promise that the Lord will restore them if they obey His commandments.

(1) And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.
