The Scripture
(1) Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

Psalm 115 celebrates the superiority of God over the gods of the nations, describing how He is the living God who created the heavens and earth, and that He is not a god of idols. It declares that the Israelites should trust in Him alone, for He is the true God who has set the heavens and the earth apart.
