The Scripture
(1) And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;

In Numbers chapter 7 Moses tells the Israelites that God has turned away from them and will not let them enter the promised land. He warns that the people will die in the wilderness if they do not heed his warning and obey God's commandments. The chapter emphasizes the seriousness of disobedience and the dire consequences of their rebellion.
