The Scripture
(43) For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites complain against Moses and Aaron for not leading them out of Egypt, and God sends a plague to test their hearts. After Moses speaks to the people, they repent and God relents, providing water from the rock.
