(11) How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

In this chapter Jesus asks Peter if he will never leave him, and Peter replies that the Lord will be with him always. Jesus declares that his faith will be the cornerstone of his church, and then he calls his disciples to follow him, sending them out to proclaim the gospel.
