The Scripture
(12) As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
God tells Moses to bring the firstborn male animal of the flock and a male goat, and to slaughter them on the day of the Passover, using the blood for atonement. The blood is to be placed on the tent of meeting to separate the people of Israel from the other nations.
