The Scripture
(37) And Gaal spake again and said, See there come people down by the middle of the land, and another company come along by the plain of Meonenim.
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites are warned against joining the Philistines, who are preparing to attack them. The Philistines plot to kill the Israelite leaders and enslave the people, but the chapter ends with the Israelites’ fear and God’s promise to protect them.
