The Scripture
(22) And when they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men that were in the houses near to Micah's house were gathered together, and overtook the children of Dan.

Gideon’s sons, who had defied his command, join the Midianites and attack Israel, causing great fear among the people. The Israelites, led by Gideon, respond with a sacrifice and a battle, and God delivers them, but the victory is followed by a period of fear and a reminder of the cost of disobedience.
