📚 About this Book
✦ Chapter Overview

Judges 15 recounts Samson's escalating conflict with the Philistines after his father-in-law gives his wife to another man, beginning with Samson burning their crops using three hundred foxes tied tail-to-tail with firebrands. The Philistines retaliate by burning his wife and her father, and Samson in turn slaughters many of them, then is bound and handed over by Judah only to break his ropes and kill a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass. When he grows faint with thirst, God splits open the hollow place at Lehi to give him water, and the chapter notes that Samson judged Israel for twenty years.
