Joshua 10:31

The Israelites, under Joshua, defeat the Canaanite city of Ai after a night assault, demonstrating God's power over the enemy. The victory is celebrated, but the chapter also notes that the people boast of their triumph, which later leads to the downfall of their nation. This chapter highlights the consequences of pride after divine deliverance.
