The Scripture
(19) So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.

In John 6 Jesus walks with his disciples and feeds a crowd of five thousand with a few loaves and fishes, a miracle that draws attention. The disciples then ask how this is possible, and Jesus responds that his teaching is the true bread that gives life, and anyone who comes to him will never be hungry.
