John 5:27

John 5 opens with Jesus healing a man crippled for thirty-eight years at the pool of Bethesda on the Sabbath, provoking the Jews' anger. He responds that the Father and Son work together, that the Son gives life and judgment, and that the dead will one day hear his voice.
