The Scripture
(46) At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.

In Jeremiah chapter fifty the prophet declares that the Babylonians will capture the king of Judah and that Jerusalem will be destroyed. He also warns that God will judge the people for their sins and that the remnant will be saved.
