The Scripture
(16) Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die.

In this chapter Jeremiah mourns the loss of his wife Biah, who is taken to the house of the king, and he weeps bitterly, fearing death. God comforts him, assuring Jeremiah that he will not be removed from his place and that he will continue to serve the Lord.
