Hosea 5:1
The Scripture
(1) Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

The chapter describes the people's growing wickedness and apostasy, as they desecrate the temple and worship idols. It records the king's harsh rule, his cruelty toward the people, and the resulting suffering. The message calls for repentance and a return to God's law.
