(3) They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.

In this chapter the prophet Hosea warns that God will bring severe judgment on Israel and Judah for their sins, and that their enemies will capture their cities. He reminds the people that God’s love endures, and He will ultimately restore them.
