The Scripture
(1) And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beersheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

Jacob and his family are led by Joseph to Egypt where they are counted and given instructions to take their livestock and go there. The chapter records the census and the promise that they will dwell in Egypt for seventy years.
