(20) And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;

Abraham is commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac on a mountain, but Isaac doubts his father's willingness. Abraham obeys, yet God halts the plan and provides a ram as a substitute, saving Isaac's life. The chapter illustrates God's faithfulness and Abraham's profound faith.
