The Scripture
(1) And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

In this chapter God commands Ezekiel to examine the people of Israel and find that they have broken the covenant, especially by worshiping other gods and sacrificing to them. The chapter ends with a warning that the nation will be destroyed unless they repent and return to the true worship of Yahweh.
