The Scripture
(9) And thou shalt make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen of an hundred cubits long for one side:
Chapter overview (whole chapter)
In this chapter the Israelites begin to construct the tabernacle and its furnishings as God instructs Moses, setting aside the Ark of the Covenant and the lampstand. The altar and the veil are also prepared, and the priests are assigned their duties to maintain the holy place. This passage emphasizes God’s provision of a sacred space and the responsibility of the priests to keep it holy.
